Unicare Health had a very productive time last week at the 2017 Occupational Therapy Australia 27th National Conference and Exhibition. Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19 – 21 July 2017, we had an amazing time catching up with the many occupational therapists we have an amazing working relationship with. We also met and introduced ourselves to the many budding therapists new to the industry.
We were honoured to have Christopher Loy from Wissiner Bosserhoff join us at our Unicare Booth for the three days, showcasing and demonstrating to conference patrons the first high-tech intelligent nursing bed in Western Australia – Sentida 7-i.
The Sentida 7-i is a nursing home bed which makes everyday life easier for both the nursing staff and residents with its sophisticated functions. It offers the highest degree of integrated intelligence with many innovative functions. We also took the opportunity to introduce two emergency lifting cushions from Manger Health USA – leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of inflatable moving and patient handling equipment – and demonstrated how patients should be lifted from the ground in emergency situations.
Occupational therapists from all over Australia and other conference patrons had a chance to trial these products and ask expert questions about these high-tech products.
