Unicare Health is very excited to be participating in Have a Go Day Burswood again!
Have a Go Day Burswood is a free seniors event, now in its 26th year. Traditionally held on the beautiful grounds of Burswood Park, this age friendly event provides an excellent opportunity for local groups, service providers, government departments and businesses to promote information about their services and activities to seniors in a one-stop location.
You are invited to join Unicare Health and over 170 other exhibitors for a fun day of activities, music, dancing, food and information.
What will Unicare Health be doing at Have a Go Day?
Unicare Health’s aged care equipment information booth will be back this year to educate seniors about assistive equipment available to support your aging at home and in the community.
We will have quality aged care products on display including seat walkers, mobility aids, mobility scooters, and lots of home care products to increase your independence at home.
We welcome you to come and ride on a mobility scooter, play with bendable cutlery, meet Uccello the effortless pouring kettle and get to know other everyday living aids you didn’t even know existed!
Ask Annette – our Occupational Therapist
Our occupational therapist Annette Terranova will be at Have A Go Day to answer any questions that you might have relating to aged care, mobility, pressure care equipment and nursing beds.
Annette Terranova is an occupational therapist with over 30 years experience working in healthcare. Annette has worked extensively as a clinician and consultant within the aged care sector and has special interests in manual handling and pressure management. Annette has significant experience in prescribing products for the aged including effective prevention and treatment of pressure injuries and has assisted hundreds of other therapists with pressure injury management.
Come share your aged care challenges with Annette and she’ll find that optimal solution to suit your needs.
