2018 Innovation: Solutions for an Ageing Population International Conference
Wednesday 12 – Friday 14 September 2018
Joondalup Resort
Perth, Western Australia
The aged care sector in Australia, like others throughout the world, is navigating unprecedented challenges and change as it strains to meet the increasing needs of an ageing population.
The ISAP2018 conference provided aged care providers in Western Australia with a “fresh” approach to innovative solutions across the aged care and healthcare industries in a global context.
Attended largely by top level management across different aged care groups, ISAP2018 identified areas where innovation must be applied to unlock substantial value for an organization.
Because innovation is generally not well understood within the aged care sector, innovation must be embraced first on an operational and management level.
Speakers at the conference shared insight on how to deliver innovation in aged care through key areas such as customer experience, the use of products and services, operational efficiencies and business strategies.
The ISAP2018 conference provided Unicare Health with an excellent opportunity to exhibit innovative, market-transforming products to aged care groups looking to discover new products and services to shape and transform the way they deliver aged care.
The Sentida 7i by Wissner Bosserhoff, currently the world’s most intelligent nursing home bed and the only bed in the world featuring innovations that effectively addresses client safety, falls prevention, dementia care and pressure injury prevention was awarded its deserved attention as a value driver at the conference. The Sentida 7i is a multiple award winner for its design and innovative functions, including the prestigious Red Dot Award.
The CuroCell UNO by Care of Sweden, a new generation of fully automated alternating pressure mattress replacement systems was introduced at the conference for its innovative, modern design and quality engineering. It is equipped with a large touch screen panel with a user-friendly interface to reduce user-error. The fully automated pump offers automatic adjustment, providing optimal pressure relief and comfort for each individual user minimizing the need for regular staff care requirements.
The ISAP2018 conference provided a great avenue for aged care providers to network and learn how to place customers at the centre of innovation, using innovation to generate new ideas and how to translate those ideas into new practices to create value.
We thank the Bethanie Group for inviting us to exhibit at ISAP2018 and for giving us this opportunity to share with other aged care providers, some of the world’s most innovative aged care equipment currently transforming global aged care.
