Unicare Health donating to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund
The Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund was established in 1961 to provide relief of personal hardship and distress arising from natural disasters occurring within Western Australia. The perpetual fund is a registered charitable body and has approval of the Australian Taxation Office for tax deductibility of contributions.
The WAROONA AND DISTRICT FIRES APPEAL 2016 has been activated by the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund to raise and coordinate donations to support the victims. Unicare Health will donate $10 for every story entered in our March 2016 Competition competition to help the recovery of the Waroona people and community.
