International Convention Centre Sydney
10-12 July 2019
Occupational Therapy Australia is the national peak body and professional association representing a membership of more than 8000 occupational therapists working in Australia.
The 28th National Conference and Exhibition was held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney and attracted 1419 delegates from 14 countries.
This year, the theme was “Together towards tomorrow” to reflect the dynamic nature of contemporary occupational therapy practice.
Admission into the exhibition hall was complimentary and open to visitors of all ages, including those with a disability, seniors and their families, friends and carers. Over 50 exhibitors displayed a wide range of new products, services in assistive technology, home modifications, mobility solutions, modified motor vehicles for aged care, disability support, paediatrics, palliative care, rehabilitation, and more.
An exciting and inspiring conference program included presentations from local and international leaders and provided a platform for strategic conversations to discuss new thinking, processes and standards moving forward. See conference program here.
Unicare Health’s Clinical Educator Annette Terranova enjoyed her learning immensely at this major occupational therapy scientific conference and will share her new found knowledge with partnering occupational therapists in WA through Unicare Health seminars and education sessions later this year.
