Every year, Unicare Health celebrates the amazing work that Occupational Therapists do by supporting and sponsoring the following two major OT Week celebrations in Western Australia.
WA Occupational Therapy Association OT Week Breakfast and Awards at Crown Perth
The annual OT Week Breakfast is the flagship event of the WA Occupational Therapy Association (WAOTA) calendar. It is an opportunity for Occupational Therapists to come together and celebrate the wonderful Occupational Therapy profession as a group.
The Breakfast also provides the opportunity for WAOTA to present Awards to recognise excellence among the members of WAOTA. Award winners are nominated by OTs and/or colleagues, and all award winners remain unaware until their names are announced at the Breakfast!
South West Occupational Therapy Professional Development Group Awards in Bunbury
The South West Occupational Therapy Professional Development Group (SWOTPDG) supports networking and professional development events for Occupational Therapists in South Western WA. SWOTPDG’s annual OT Week Awards is held in Bunbury and recognises excellence among SWOTPDG members working in the South West region of Western Australia.

#OTWeek2018 helps promote the many ways Occupational Therapy can help people at all stages of life to reach their potential.
This year, #OTWeek2018 is celebrated from Sunday 21 October until Saturday 27 October. These dates have been selected to coincide with World Occupational Therapy Day, 27th October.
Occupational Therapists work with people of all abilities and all ages to do the things they want to and need to do through the use of therapeutic activities and equipment.
Unicare Health is a premier healthcare equipment partner to Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Organizations Australia wide. Unicare Health works with Occupational Therapists and their clients on a daily basis, acting as the conduit between them, with a purpose of matching optical equipment solutions to individual needs and goals.

Unicare Health works together with Occupational Therapists and their clients in their offices, at hospitals, in nursing homes and in the community. We recommend, conduct equipment demonstrations and assist Occupational Therapists with teaching patients how to use the different equipment functions to make their everyday living more comfortable.
Our happiness at Unicare Health comes from watching therapists and their clients meet their potential goals from the use of our products and equipment.
