Our campaign #stopthepressure was launched with a mission to stop pressure injuries from happening in our healthcare industry.
Pressure injuries are the 3rd most costly health condition behind cardiovascular disease and cancer. They are preventable causes of pain, suffering and loss of life.
#stopthepressure is an initiative by Unicare Health to reinforce the message delivered at the recent 20th Annual Meeting of European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel in Rome (EPUAP 2018) – Interdisciplinary teamwork and technological innovations: A winning approach to pressure ulcer management.
#stopthepressure workshops have been designed to deliver education and the latest solutions in pressure injury prevention and management for hospital therapists and clinicians.
Highlights of #stopthepressure workshops include

Our workshops at St. John of God Hospital Mt. Lawley on Monday 22 October and St. John of God Midland Hospitals on Wednesday 24 October saw pressure care champions, therapists and clinicians from different wards coming together in enthusiastic discussions.
