On 1 June 2017, Unicare Health was granted a certificate for the new ISO 9001:2015 standard – for the supply, service and rental of healthcare equipment.
The ISO 9001, is ISO’s flagship quality management systems standard. The ISO 9001:2015 focuses on performance and risk-based thinking, using a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
ISO 9001 helps organizations demonstrate to customers that they can offer products and services of consistently good quality. It also acts as a tool to streamline their processes and make them more efficient at what they do. It enhances an organization’s ability to satisfy its customers and provides a coherent foundation for growth and sustained success.
Having the ISO 9001:2015 certification means that Unicare Health’s management system has been audited and found to ensure that quality systems are in place to ensure that customers always get consistent, good quality products and services.
Unicare Health was first granted the ISO 9001 certification in 2006 and have since been applying the standards to organize business processes, to improve efficiency and to continually improve quality management systems.
