Unicare Health launches medical knowledge base to help staff put their best foot forward.

Improving customer experience through education.

As part of Unicare Health’s ongoing efforts to provide you with an improved customer experience, we have taken the wraps off a new medical knowledge base – an online education sharing and learning platform to empower staff with medical knowledge necessary to support you with optimal equipment solutions.

This knowledge base is moderated by an internal team, and houses information and learning materials on common medical conditions and terms that often present during our course of work such as
– Motor Neurone Disease
– Stroke, Paralysis, Paraplegia and Quadriplegia
– Arthritis, Abduction and Adduction
– Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease

As part of the learning process, Unicare Health staff unite monthly to compare learning notes, discuss case studies and share experiences from serving clients suffering from these medical conditions.

Facts, discussions and equipment solutions prescribed for different medical conditions at their progressive stages are linked and documented in this knowledge base.

The enabling power of applied knowledge

“Leveraging on our success as a learning organization, we empower our staff with knowledge on different medical conditions to help them understand the specific needs of our clients. This helps them become intelligent when prescribing optimal equipment solutions, assembling equipment, delivering equipment etc. and ultimately improves customer experiences.”

Customer care staff also make hospital and aged care visits alongside external product specialists and occupational therapists to understand at first hand, equipment considerations to note in realistic situations.

What this means for you

The launch of Unicare Health’s medical knowledge base supports our strive towards providing you with an exceptional customer experience.

It is aligned with our shared vision of being the conduit that matches optimal equipment solutions to specific needs, thus enabling us to provide you with maximum benefits in terms of enhanced mobility, dexterity and comfort.
