To better service the communities of Manjimup and Pemberton in Western Australia, the former Warren District Hospital is currently being replaced by the new state-of-the-art Warren Health Service.

Located approximately 300km from Perth, the all-new Warren Health Service brings together a range of health and medical services in one location. The modern built health facility features a comprehensive emergency department, upgraded medical imaging unit, ambulance facilities, inpatient ward, surgical services, operating theatre, birthing suite, pathology department, primary health care and other support services.

Warren Health Service brings about 21st century healthcare to Manjimup and its surrounding districts.

This project is a part of the half a billion Southern Inland Health Initiative, funded by the Royalties for Regions program, aimed at providing improvements to health infrastructure, sustainable medical coverage, emergency care, better aged care and new models of health care delivery. Services at the new Warren Health Service are currently being delivered by the WA Country Health Service.

The architectural design for the new Warren Health Service utilises local materials, including rammed earth and timber, that reflect the naturescape of the South West region.

West Australian artists Adam Cruickshank and George Domahidy have worked together in partnership to create a giant leaf-like structure at the entrance to simulate the experience of approaching a karri forest and a water feature in the rear courtyard that features a two-leafed Karri sapling with a suspended giant water droplet.

The new Warren Health Service undergoes a staged opening from 18 June 2018. Pathwest services commence on Tuesday 19 June, emergency services on 25 June and transfer of patients from the old hospital will commence on Monday 25 June.
