ATSA has once again brought Australia’s foremost exhibition of assistive technology (AT) to Perth, aimed at enhancing and expanding the lifestyles of people with disability and seniors across Western Australia.
The Perth expo showcased a broad range of AT and lifestyle services to support choice and control for those with disability, seniors and care givers. More than 75 exhibitors displayed a wide range of products and services in assistive technology, mobility solutions, pressure care, employment support, accessible recreation/holiday ideas, modified motor vehicles and more.
An educational program featuring 25+ professional development sessions ran in rooms conveniently located next to the exhibition floor and covered a broad range of topics to educate health professionals about the latest advances in AT and related services.
End users were amazed by the innovations in AT available to help them improve their independence, dignity, health and well-being.

Our stand was a hive of activity over two days, with hundreds of enthusiastic therapists, healthcare professionals and members of the community eager to learn more about our range of new AT products.
Our all-new twilight luxury power lift recliner that offers tilt and endless positioning options stole the limelight at our stand.
Currently the world’s most advanced power positioning lift recliner, this patented 5-motor system provides unique, rejuvenating positions along with power lumbar support and power headrest.
Clinical features include feet elevation above the heart while experiencing a feeling of weightlessness and twilight positions to relieve pressure areas and encourage proper posture by supporting the natural “S” shape of the spine.
Encouraged by all the enquiries and interest we have received from this twilight chair, we are very excited about carving a new space in community aged care with its capabilities.
The Curocell® A4 and CuroCell® IQ range of pressure care mattresses by Care of Sweden – the latest and greatest pressure care solution for providers wanting to provide the best in individualized healthcare, has gained worldwide attention for its superior design, quality manufacture and pressure distribution properties.
These pressure care mattress systems were a hit, with lots of therapists and well-informed participants stopping by to ask us how the CuroCell® A4 and CuroCell® IQ has proven to be a successful pressure care solution in hospitals, aged care and disability settings across Western Australia.
The cosy looking Sentida 6 bed by Wissner Bosserhoff was a head turner, with its intelligent safety features, integrated mobility and ease of patient care functionalities built within a padded bed frame, making it the perfect homely nursing bed for residential aged care.
The Sentida 6 has set a new standard for clinical care across aged care and disability settings in Western Australia and we continue to congratulate all the aged care and disability providers who have chosen this bed for its outstanding clinical features.
We also had a successful time introducing our new powered tilt-in-space shower commode range, which features a battery-powered tilting mechanism for smooth and easy change of seat angle and seat height, reducing the risks associated with manual handling.
Also on display was Australia’s favourite Alto hoist with a 4-point yolk and we thank Cameron Salter – General Manager at Allegro Concepts for coming all the way to Perth to assist with all the intelligent manual handling questions.
Overall, we had an awesome time promoting new AT, catching up with suppliers and therapists, and getting to know new customers.
We are thankful to have won best marketing at Australia’s largest assistive living industry event and would like to thank the ATSA organizing committee for recognizing our marketing accomplishments. We are also very grateful to our network of friends in the industry who have praised us as the most deserving recipients of this outstanding award on social.
