It was a gorgeous morning start in Queens Park. Sun in the sky. Light breeze in the air. The City of Canning’s Community Connections team enjoyed a wonderful morning with local seniors, walking and scooting around Queens Park at the Seniors Neighbourhood Walk.

During the walk, accessibility of the neighbourhood was discussed, giving the City a more in-depth understanding of the community’s wishes and needs. Aspirational ideas were also shared on how to make Queens Park a great suburb to live, work and play.

Unicare Health is proud to be supporting City of Canning’s strategic engagement projects starting with the suburb of Queens Park by facilitating mobility scooters at these community activations to include seniors and people with disabilities.
