Unicare Health would like to thank Hall and Prior Aged Care Group for inviting us to provide training to promote safe and effective manual handling techniques at your workshop for manual handling leaders.
Hall and Prior is an aged care organization operating 14 residential aged care homes in Western Australia and 10 in New South Wales. For over 25 years, Hall & Prior has been driven by a commitment to deliver quality aged care that is accessible to everyone, no matter their background or circumstances.
Hall and Prior’s growth and favourable reputation is a fitting testament to their high standards of care. Since 2011, Hall & Prior have won 11 Better Practice Awards for projects that have transformed the way that they care for their residents.
Unicare Health is pleased to be in ongoing partnership with Hall and Prior Aged Care Group, as a preferred equipment and solutions provider to their aged care homes across Western Australia and as a source of expert advice to therapists, clinicians and care staff for resident equipment needs.
Hall and Prior’s workshop for manual handling leaders is an annual training event attended by manual handling leaders across their aged care homes. These manual handling champions are united in their commitment to continuous improvements in manual handling practices in the workplace and are the advocates for safe manual handling techniques among care staff.
“We are thankful for Hall and Prior’s confidence in our products and services, as well as our equipment related training capabilities.”
Unicare Health’s clinical educator and trainer, Annette Terranova, was invited to address developments and knowledge to update skills required, as well as effective use of manual handling equipment functions to improve manual handling practices in aged care.
Unicare Health would like to thank management and staff at Hall and Prior Aged Care for your confidence in our training capabilities and for including us in your processes to increase the level of practical skills required by care staff to meet the challenging demands of manual handling tasks in aged care settings.
